I think window Defender is Absolutely safe!!! But Spybot Search and destroy would be a better option rather than Win Defender!!!

Any AV or spyware scanner from Windows is not reliable. So why do we still settle for Windows…?
Man, Apple should consider making their products more affordable!
(Though I heard there are already some spywares that can infect Mac)

i have windows firewall as well as avg free edition, my friend told me that i can turn off windows defender because i already have the firewall, doesn’t make sense to me, who is right? Thanks for this useful information.

I do not know that much about computers but I know enough. I have windows defender on my computer and all of a sudden it stopped working. My windows update stopped updating (last update March 21st). I am running windows Vista off a laptop i bought a few months ago. My computer runs fine for the most part, but all i wanna do is be able to play Bodog poker, and it wont run and im wodering if windows defender is stopping it. Every time i start my computer is says Error 0×800106ba.please help, and please do not give me any scientific stuff i wont understand. Thanks.
