How to get SmartBRO Canopy IP Address
If you want to access your Smartbro Canopy and be able to tweak it’s settings or fix your connection one better way to do it is know it’s IP address, but how can you do it? well, Here is a step-by-step procedure on how you can safely get the IP address of your SmartBRO Canopy so you can access and manage your SmartBRO Canopy settings.
any new subscriber of smartbro will have the 10.xxx.xxx canopy address
1. Go to network connections in the control panel
2. Right click on the local area network
3. Highlight Internet Protocol and click on properties
4. Set to Use the Following IP address
5. Set the IP Address to “10.20.30.40″
6. Set the Subnet to “255.0.0.0″
7. Leave the gateway blank
8. Leave the DNS blank
9. Apply the changes
10. Then go to command prompt
11. Type in the command prompt c:\arp -a
arp -a – Displays current ARP entries by interrogating the current protocol data. If inet_addr is specified, the IP and Physical addresses for only the specified computer are displayed. If more than one network interface uses ARP, entries for each ARP table are displayed.
12. It will show several IP address
13. After you get the IP address of your canopy, open your browser (I prefer Mozilla Firefox)
14. Type the IP address at the address bar to get access to the smartbro admin site.
After you gain access to your smartbro admin site you can now be able to tweak some settings and troubleshoot connections.

To find the valid IP on of your PC, go to START > RUN > CMD > type IPCONFIG
take note of your
IP ADDRESS > your IP address provided by the canopy because it acts like your server (it should not start with 169)
SUBNET MASK
DEFAULT GATEWAY > will be the address of the canopy (this can start with 169)

Never try to reprogram the configuration of the canopy configs, i tell u, you might lost connection and if you call hotline, of course they will asssist, but if they found out that someone has been reprogram the settings, they will post to the Bro after sales remarked with PC related, and u cant avail for rebate. rebates is the method of discount of payment, which counts the days u have no connection.

d hard way po para malaman ip nyo is to write down the details sa likod ng mismong canopy.. if ever you can get close enough mas ok ung..
