How to find the IP Address of the Mail Sender in Yahoo! Mail
Do you want to know where you can locate the IP address of the mail sender in your Yahoo Mail? This is very much possible in your Yahoo Mail. When you receive a mail, you receive more than just a message, your mail comes with headers that gives important information including where the mail comes from and possibly the one who sent it.
Follow this simple tutorial to help you find the IP address of the sender.
1. Log into your Yahoo mail account.
2. Click on your Inbox or whichever folder your mail is stored.
3. Open your mail.
4. Scroll down below and click on “Full headers”.
This will give you the header of the message that has the information you need about the sender and you can now be able to track the IP address of the sender.
Unfortunately this will not work if the sender uses anonymous proxy server.
