How to enable Aero Theme on Vista Home Premium

By default Windows Vista Aero Theme is not selected upon installation of Vista Home Premium. If your computer is Vista capable and would like to experience Windows Aero (translucent windows, windows flip, windows flip 3d and smooth window performance) on your Vista Home Premium follow this quick guide.

Right click anywhere on your desktop then click Personalize

This will bring you the personalization window, click on “Window Color and Appearance”

On the Appearance Dialog box and under Color Scheme select “Windows Aero” then click OK.

To enable the transparency effect just follow the first two steps above and check on “Enable Transparency”

You can now enjoy the translucent windows, windows flip, windows flip 3d and smooth window performance effect of Aero theme.
