How To Disable Automatic Hyperlinks in Microsoft Word
Tired of the automatic hyperlinking feature in Microsoft word? Well, this is a common problem for people when they are trying to copy some article or portion of a paragraph and pasting it to Word for printing. One solution they do is they remove the underline (highlighting the text then pressing CTRL+U or through the toolbar) then changing the font color from blue (default hyperlink color) to the default text color which is black. But this procedure is a hassle and sometimes a pain for others. What I have here is a very easy tip on how you can easily disable the automatic hyperlinking in MS Word 2003 and 2007.
How to disable to in Word 2003
- Go to tools
- Auto correct options
- AutoFormat As You Type
- Uncheck “Internet and Network Paths”
How to disable to in Word 2007
Click the office button located at the upper left corner
Click on “Word Options” below that menu
At the Word Option, click on Proofing then select “AutoCorrect Options”
Then on the “AutoFormat As You Type” tab, uncheck “Internet and network paths with hyperlinks”.
It’s done should get rid of the problem. See how easy it is?
